It's been a while since I have shared any advice from my favourite calendar...

The Windy Road :

The GI tract is approximately  25 feet in length. This number has been debated because it depends on how and when you measure the length 

(when do they do that? Cadavers? Ewww!) 

The intestine is at its longest in a live person and shrinks considerably when it it removed from the body.

I think that was good to know.
