One of my favourite riddles to date...

...and I'm really no good at these things!

However, my student just EAT THEM UP!

Do have any good riddles for me, that I can use in class? 

I would LOVE to hear'em!

Here's riddle #1

Alive without breath,

As cold as dealth,

Never thirsty, ever drinking

All in mail, never clinking

I didn't say it was hard - did I?
Do you know the answer?
HINT: It's an animal.

I really DISLIKED riddle #2

A box without hinges, key or lid.

Yet inside golden treasure is hid.

Did I mention how much I disliked this one?
