"What Would She Say" refers to my twin sister,Rhiannon. Rhiannon is challenged with autism and does not speak, cannot look after herself and will never develop past the capabilities of a 3 to 4 year old. However, all is not lost. I would like to think (even if some people believe this to be false) that Rhiannon and I share a special bond. So I try to ask myself as often as possible...what would Rhiannon say about this...? And thus the title was born - BOOM!

When all I wanna do is GROWL - I think of YOU's!
I can't lie....
...the past few days have been rough.
WHY?
Stomach upset
Too much humidity
Too much humidity
No more coconut milk in stores
Attacked by beggars
Attacked by beggars
Lack of sleep
Coffee overdose
Report card writing
Lesson plan failing
Grouchy colleagues
Lovely colleagues that I end up growling at...pathetic Lauren, pathetic!

At times like this,
when I just about to grab my phone and call home,
call in sick or call the latest fortune teller (very fun, I recommend)
~ I stop and think of
(you ready for this?)
friends.
(cheeeeeeeese BALL alert!)
But it's the truth.
I wear the clothes I stole from them.
Wear all the wonderful gift they gave me
or
simply just think about them for a split second in my current situation
and
it helps.
It helps me catch my breath, calm me down, before I start growing again.
(Yes, it does INDEED take someone with a great imagination)
YES - it's true! Friends = you LOT!
Friends near and far.
Friends old and young.
You DANG people, who have somehow gotten etched
in my memory. You people who perhaps I knew for only a brief amount of time.
YOU have all gotten me through some of my WORST days, weeks, and even months.
And you didn't even know it....did you?
Well it's a fact.
I think of your purdy' little faces,
hear your annoying voice,
see you react as if you were right there in front of me
and for a moment
(as I watch you)
everything calms down around me.
True story.
(people also get tired of waiting for me to react, but let them
wait - my imagination is working!)
So here is to all the people
(near and far)
who have helped me
(little do they know)
by somehow being stuck in my head
(sounds kinda weird but very true)
and STILL kick my BUTT when I am being an old bi-A-tCH!
(like yesterday - BahHA!)
Your voices are the ones yelling at me in my own head.
It's like my own GROUP of personal trainers, coaches, mentor, bosses!!!
All I gotta do is copy what my imaginary friend just said or did in my head
and
BOOM;
ready for any situation.
What can I say?
I got me a good imagination.
So..yeah.
Thanks you.
p.s. Except it would be nice if you got out of my HEAD every once in a while!

Hanging Out Up and Away
This past weekend I was away at a site called BASE CAMP, Bangladesh.
I'm considering it to be a potential place that SRC (The Student Representative Council) can
use at the beginning of the year as a bonding or team building retreat.
What do you think?
Green in Bangladesh?
Shade is KEY these days...sooooo hot!
Or a pool, don't mind if I do thanks!
Confused? YES!
Campsite - KOOL!
Do I really have to go up there?
Testing everything...
Alley - GO!
No, it's not hot at all!
Cool pants are NOT included in this retreat.....
Just call me Jane, Jane of the jungle.
Ladder for the zip line...that I did NOT go on.
This is me, watching the zip lining from safe, solid, ground.
So..yeah.

Got CAUGHT laughing...
I got caught for laughing the other day during class
as I was looking for a "Feel Good Sunday"
article, video, or post for my homeroom class.
This is what had me in stitches.
~Enjoy~

Another One Bites the Dust (a.k.a. ME!)
I saw some people at the gym, doing something cool....
What?!? WOW! Do it again....
And he did, over and over and over again...
So I got an idea.
On the left, the box I normally jump on.
On the right, the boxes that the guys were jumping on.
It's not THAT much different, right?!?!
I got THREE jumps all by myself and thought -
I AM THE KING OF THE WORLD!
Then biffed - harrrrrrd!
It doesn't look like much but right on the CHIN!
OUGHIEEEEE
I fought harrrrd not to swear or
curl up on the carpet and hold myself in the fetal position.
To sum up?
Bit the DUST like a BOSS.
Word.

Fruit Mania - WHOA!
There is a new PUSH at our school for fruit and veggies which makes
me VERY happy!
Okay - hold on, that is not what I wanted to show you.
That is just another Hangry (hungry+angry) teacher trying to eat the watermelon sculpture!
I got in trouble for eating the carrot and radish flowers once - for display only?
BAH - HUMBUG!
VOILA - this is sums up International School of Dhaka!
A CEO called Craig Salmon and an ISD logo.
Boom.
Happy weekend EVERYONE!

Running it never ends....THANK GOODNESS!
Running.
Some days I love it, other days I dread it.
Why run then?
Cuz no matter, I feel good when it's over and done with....
...I think?
Today was one of those days I DID NOT like running!
Pouring rain, heavy soaking wet clothes, socks slipping down and iPod music out of charge!
WHAT?!?!!?
But it't done, one more check on that list of things done.
UGH!
Please tell me I ain't the only one who has CRAP running days?

Memorized with the Blues
Alright, so I have been known to like cats.
I even had a pair once, then gave them away due to inadequate parenting skills.
(awkward silence)
BUT
I do still love and can appreciate their little purrrrs, soft-fluffy tails and
BEAUTIFUL BLUE EYES!
Brother and Sister hanging out at the club...
One is hazel and one has wicked BLUE eyes...
Here kitty-kitty....look up!
THERE THEY ARE - look at those darling blue eyes!!!
Love these two little guys!
Blues don't look as bright in this pick....but think you get my drift.
BLUES ARE BACK in STYLE!
Boom.

Supposedly the doode FACE is REAL but the rest of the body was
reconstructed.....Ewwww Jeremy, ewww!
They didn't have flat screens when you were around, eh Dad?
Tunnel of DOOM!
Let me OUTTA HERE! Make this tour stop, pleeeeeeeeeeease!
This is what I would have on my door if I were a prof...hee=hee!
Danger!
Even more dangerous....what the HECK does this all mean?
No idea.
You sir, are delightful.
He was the happiest man, sitting on that bench all day...trust me, sometimes photos
can't REALLY capture everything in the moment.
He was there for a while.....just thinking......
....and thinking more.....
Alright dad - time to say goodbye to being sentimental
and get on a TOUR !!!
Ahhhh, the old registrar office - now welcome center.
Future Student? Mayyyyyybe ?!?!?!
So old.....and red.
Dad, you name and photo are NOT there....sesssh!
Nice neighbourhood campus.
Yeah, I could live here.
ABSOLUTELY could LIVE HERE = yay nerdy environment people!
Dad's Ph.D School....yeah - yeah! SHOW OFF!
Again, just a church or cathedral on campus...no big deal.
A Farmers Market did you say? NOW THAT IS A BIG DEAL!
Again, this makes Tennessee campus look like a dump.
*Sigh
No DAD! They did NOT put that sign up for you......ugh!
I give up - this is hopeless.
Yes-yes! You are right, they knew you were coming and put up all these signs.
You are right, I am wrong.
What was I thinking?
*Double sigh*
Memories in La London with Dad ~ Love it.
