Here is what my students were doing in Humanities
class the other day.
class the other day.
Potatoes in a large TRAY,
add the same amount of water each time.
add the same amount of water each time.
Students draw just above where the water meets the
dry potato....and then we add more water!
hahahha!
CONTOUR LINES WITH POTATOES!
KOOL IDEA but errrr failed!
Why?
#1) Permanent markers don't like water
#2) Old lines kept washing off (or the lines
that eventually ended up under water)
that eventually ended up under water)
#3 ) The tray was NOT flat.....so it was deeper in some areas than others....ugh!
Clearly NOT the most accurate at all...and the previous lines were washing off!
However, the students loved taking photos
(each kid had to take
(each kid had to take
a shot of their potato!)
HAH!
HAH!
Birds Eye View Shot from students...hahah!
Everyone was wet by the end of class....ohhhh well!
More water? YES PLEASE!!!
I was in charge of water...bad news!
Should have given it to someone more responsible.
Should have given it to someone more responsible.
End products.....and a MESSY classroom with WATER everywhere!
HA!
But that's what you get for not being able to teach contour line the NORMAL way....yeah, I guess I deserved that all that mess and water!
*sigh
And I thought teaching was suppose
to be easy?
