I wish we could do something like this in Canada.
A COLOUR RUN!
What's a colour run?
A colour run is when people sign up to run a particular distance however as they run throughout the course they get hit with different colours.
GENIUS!
And for those people who are on the course, watching and encouraging students to keep
running - why not give them something to do?
Like THROWING colours at kids?
BRILLIANT, no?

Happiest colour on the colour wheel, so
of course I get the BRIGHT - YELLOW colour station!
And because the goal as yellow colour thrower was to get as much yellow on everyone who passed
(more than any other colour)
I needed the tallest member of staff.
Big Al.
It's always a competition with me people, when are you gonna learn?
So we made a plan.
Big Al would knock down every student,
while I threw colours in the whites of their eyes - TAKE NO PRISONERS!

NOT!
Clearly, from the photo you can see just how lovely we were to students running by.
I missed the eyes kinda....a little...okay COMPLETELY!
Yusuf was lucky - I was being nice just for the camera!
Soon I started throwing colours not only at students but at cars,
trucks, buses, goats, and rickshaws.....why not????
Okay, okay. You are right, I should have kept myself under control but
I was rigger happy-colour happy!
This was how nuts the rest of the colour stations were!
One of my favourite shots!
The man in charge of the days events
(Love your work Tony!)
Who let this guy run? Bah - ha!
My shoes will never be the same....
He still had purple coming out of his ears two days later.
Rudolph the reindeer came out for the day.
The Mad hatter, the Hulk and Braveheart were among the celebrity runners.
"Get to CLASS and start LEARNING!"
Our new mascot - done!
The best red thrower hands down....this lady is out of control!
(in a good way)
So proud of my "yellow" work - sigh*
Not sure how but they were really having a serious conversation...bahhah!
How can they still look that good after a colour run?
BEATS ME!
Mr. Sheets (my new boss)
wiping tears of joy or red colour from his eye?
Hmmm.
Best thing that could have ever happened to the Humanities department at ISD.
(Yes - indeed I am a suck up)
No words to describe this photo, no words.
Bahah!
Making the colour red look good - CLEARLY!
To sum up?
I think that all students loved the run, the throwing of colours and
the spirit that was created that day.
PURE FUN~!
Colour runs = genius
So...yeah.
That's all from now from Dhaka, Bangladesh.
