Running Around Hanoi = Newbies Scavenger Hunt

When you come to a place like Hanoi, the best thing
to do is GET OUT and discover it.

Meaning?
(What the heck are you trying to say Lauren?)

1) Find a bunch of strangers - check
2) Receive a challenge along with a map attached - check
3) Make it competitive - check
4) Bring a phone to keep evidence of silliness - check

And voila...a UNIS Rookie Challenge is Born!
(It was AWESOME...even if I stepped in a big pile of CRAP with white shoes)

Always start in a market trying to buy random things with
people who cannot speak English.

Perrrfect.

Teammates trying to bargain and ask for the name of certain
veggies/fruit in Vietnamese.

This man was wonderful....and pretty sure charged us a small fortune
for this dynamite avocado.

Dave and the rest of the team (Jared and his mom Shannon)
were SUPER happy!

Found a wading lady in a bunch of lotus flowers.

NEXT!

Yes! Graffiti (specifically that said "Awe") was one of many clues to find along the way.

Lovvvverrrrrs in a dangerous time.

Dave (the self proclaimed team leader) teaching us ALL a thing
or two about how to fish.

Pffffft - show off!
(Mou-hahahahhahahahahha)

Watch out for the dog pooh Lauren...nope, right SMACK-DAB in the middle
of a FRESH pile of pooh.

Yuk.

After that I needed and DESERVED a coffeeeeeeee!

Simon checking our clues....did we win?

Nope, 2nd place.
Too bad.

Team photo
(Once again, Dave being difficult! Although he is a Brit so
what do you expect - right?!?!)

Good times.

Just a regular day in the Nam.

Boom.
