Meet who? Dennis Irwin the footballer?

Just when you thought things couldn't get any cooler in the Desh, 

last week we had a professional footballer come to ISD school

and speak to the students.

DENNIS IRWIN

(well of course, I had to ask him a question about

his routine before matches...was he superstitious?)

Naw - he was not.

Good question, Lauren.

Yes!There were even local video/news cameras there.

The ENEMIES (a.k.a. not our TEAM!)

Irwin right in the middle of things.
This is actually a team of Bangladesh guys (young men)
who were hand-picked for recruitment of a much
larger & more professional football league)

Of course, Mr. Ben Smith turns away from MY camera!
(little camera shy, he is)
Our very own ISD P.E. teacher organized the
whole EVENT and well, he was kinda the man that day!
Boom.

When is it going to start?
(*sigh)

but GOSH; couldn't be prouder!

In the end it was a great after school event.
ISD did lose 3 - 1 but HEY NOW; the visiting team were semi-PROFESSIONALS
and well, our team has just kinda practiced only once or twice...
...okay fine, maybe all summer.

Regardless, we did our best and that still ROCKS!

Sheeeesh, when did I become such a HARDCORE ISD FAN???
