Hey Baby, What's Your Time?

Hey Baby, What's Your Time?

The normal gastrointestinal transit time varies from
person...

...to person...

AND is also affected by diet....

Errrrr....

Yummmmmm.

The average individual, however,
can expect to see meal remnants in their stool 30 to 40 hours after eating.

REALLY!?!?!?!?

A mere curiosity for most, knowing your transit time may be useful if you are suffering
from severe constipation or other gastrointestinal problems such as bloating.

COOL!

Special X-ray test, which track how long it takes radiolabelled food or metallic
beads to pass through your GI tract, can give an estimate of transit time.

So...yeah.
HAPPY FRIDAY OR SATURDAY...DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU ARE.

Who Said That Being A Coach Was Hard?

Dry-land trainings start back-up again.

Every Tuesday and Thursday I help swimmers
(and other athletes alike)
improve their physical performance by playing little games
(in french Arno my old rowing coach would say "des petits jeux")
to improve their

explosive power
endurance and ultimately
cardio.

It's FUN, its QUICK and it's PAINFUL!

An example of me in action?

Stay awesome Lauren.

The Mantra I was Given at Birth (it's the same as Bill!!!)

Today's Bill Murray Monday quote really hit home.

It states:

"I try to avoid the ordinary"

 By Bill Murray.

Bill, I think I know how you feel...

What Happens When You Get Unexpected Mail? HAPPINESS!!!

Someone surprised me with READ mail today...

Extra large envelope...

...soo excited I couldn't hold the phone properly to take the picture.
(Or keep still for that matter)

Although it may appear that I am in pain, I am not.

Just extremely happy and surprised.

THANK YOU JÉRÉ!

So...yeah.

Happy Wednesday from the Nam.

"Karma? I Can Do That!" Anymous Grade 6 Students

Recently, I had my Grade 6 students represent
Karma with play-doe.
It was one of the many review "stations" for their unit on Hinduism.
(a.k.a. all students knew what the word meant)

It was awesome.
Why?

Because if someone asked YOU what Karma looked like,
what would you make?

Clearly one of my favourites!

This one needed to show karma in "motion"

Abstract....I love it!

Ummmm?

Bahahahhah!
Kids are great.

Overall, I thought it was FUN for them
and MOST certainly fun for ME!

Sigh*
I have been needed some good karma lately, this is the face I was making
while looking at these photos....

HAH!

JEZEUS LAUREN - wake up!
Life's too short Lauren to be so angry, sad, and such a Debbie downer!
So, start collected some good karma,
smile a little more, make sure to drink all your coffee(s),
eat ALL your greens and for goodness sake
STOP FURROWING YOUR BROW!

So...yeah.
