Been a while since I have been blogging because let's face it - 

SCHOOL IS TAKING OVER MY LIFE!

But I finally, kinda, a little, feel like I have two feet on the ground...?

Okay, maybe not - perhaps just one foot, and perhaps just the toes.

UGH!

Regardless, still playing tennis HARD every weekend and guess

what little animal thought it would be okay to 

LAY ON TOP OF MY IMPORTANT LAPTOP?!?!

Friggin' cats.

Gotta luv'em - gotta hate'em.

Excuse me, do you have flees?

Well don't let me stop you....just keep scratching why don't you?

Ugh!

Now you are bathing? 

REALLY!?!?!?!

My poor FRIGGIN laptop....ugh!

Yeah - yeah.

The Nicest Thing I Can Do For Myself?

I need to start practicing how to say this word -

NO! (or non-non in french)

Why?

Well here are 5 reasons that I think are pretty good -

#1 - Need a little headspace? Skip happy hour.
(and save a little bit of cash too, double boom!)

#2 - Feeling physically exhausted? Give yourself the night off. 
(Gulp - this is reeeeally hard for moi)

#3 Can't hear yourself think? Create your "cave." 

(I have two caves to be honest - Bahhahahah!)

#4 Had a rough week? Take a personal Friday night. (I am truly a culprit of this one...and thus explains why my social life suffers tremendously at times - OPPS!)

#5 Just not in the mood? Simply say "no."

(Really? Naww - you're just kidding, tell the truth? Impossible! Alright - alright, I'll try it! Sheesh! Don't get you nickers in a knot!)

Conclusion?

There are five times you should NOT listen to inner desire to please others and, instead, listen for what will make you happy.

Okay - thanks. 

Giving it a try, starting tomorrow....gotta get some work done first!

Best Mom Advice Ever~!

If I ever am a mom - this is the list 

I would have for my kid(s).

Just saying...

ABSOLUTELY NO GLOWING SCREENS UNTIL:

• You have read real text (not comics) for at least 25 minutes
• All your homework is done (one item may wait until morning with approval from Mom/Dad)
• You have marked the calendar with any upcoming tests or deadlines, and made an appointment to study with Mom/Dad
• You have done something creative, active, or productive for at least 45 minutes
• Your bed is made and your room is tidy
• You have done at least one chore (see chore list below)

And here’s the chore list:

PICK A CHORE:

• Clean a bathroom (completely)
• Brush Sparky
• Clean out Ron’s cage
• Do your laundry (wash/fold/put away)
• Quick yard clean up: poop patrol and pick up any litter
• Clean your room (really clean it: dust/vacuum)
• Change and wash your sheets
• Tidy up the Room of Requirement
• Do the dusting: At least two rooms
• Pickup boogie: Go through every room in the house and find everything that belongs to you that is out of place and put it away (shoes? books? coats).
• Purging boogie: Find five to ten things (clothes, books, whatever) that belong to you but which you do not want or cannot use anymore; throw them away or put them in the donate box
• Put away or load up dishes in the dishwasher
• Do the food shopping with Mom
• Do errands with Mom

They forgot one thing...

Bring you Mama a triple cappuccino 

with coconut milk - IN BED!

Mmmmmm.

"Yes to extra froth - and put a MOVE on honey!

Oh and don't forget a piece of dark chocolate - 

not that crap your father eats, the one that

says over 80%.

Ev and Lo - Late Birthday Wishes

This is a picture of my and my little brother Everett.

We used to play all sorts of games together,

(most of them Everett would love to forget)

games like;

Horsey

House

Pregnant People

(don't ask but it involved lots of pillow stuffing)

Dog

Babysitter

etc.

As he got older, he was harder to boss around but still he continued to play these

silly-girlie games with me until one day, David

(my second eldest brother)

took him away from one of our games and said

"Ev, come'on it's time you learnt how to play catch..."

And that was that.

The point of this story?

Even though Everett no longer plays these silly games with me 

he is one of first people I can go and talk to about

stupid/girlie things and feel comfortable and important because he listens so well!

BLESS HIM, I KNOW!

Ev, I love you.

First Day Back at School with Kids = Three Coffees with Coconut Milk

This pretty much sums it up~!

So...yeah.

Where's my FRIGGIN coconut latte, eh?

Being A Twin Is Very Important ~ clearly*

I normally only get to see Rhiannon once a year therefore

it's important that we spend as much time together

as possible, doing the things that we miss-out -on

during the year.

For example?

#1 Activity

Gabbing in the park....

There was A  LOT of gossip to catch up on.

#2 Activity

Deciding who has the better nail job

No contest, I'm the older one 

(by 10 minutes) 

therefore I have the nicer nail polish job - boom!

Case closed!

#3 Activity 

Sitting on a park bench contemplating life

(a.k.a. fighting as sisters often do)

#4 Activity

SHOPPING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup, that DID just happen!

Best TWO for one deal EVER~!

(pretty sure we haven't dressed the same since we were toddlers)
